Patiala, March 10 - International Women's Day event was organized by Basant Singh Khalsa Memorial Trust Sangrur at Government ITI Sangrur. Women personalities who have made unique contributions in their respective fields were specially honored during the event. Dr. Gurupdesh Kaur, professor-cum-in-charge of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Patiala, run by Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, was also included, who was honored with a flower and a memento besides cash. On this occasion, Dr. Harpreet Kaur Khalsa, head of Basant Singh Khalsa Trust, and many other eminent personalities were present.
