Patiala, January 16 - Additional Deputy Commissioner Anuprita Johal reviewed the works of various schemes under rural development at the District Administrative Complex. During which he gave instructions to the officials and said that maximum development works should be conducted under various schemes while speeding up the development works in the villages. And while paying special attention to the ongoing development works, the pending works should also be completed in time.
Apart from this, a progress report of the completed works should be prepared. During the meeting, the Additional Deputy Commissioner while getting information from the BDPOs and Executive Engineers of various departments and other senior officials regarding the development works being done in the villages, instructed them to ensure that That the benefits of all schemes for public welfare development work by the state government reach the deserving people at the ground level.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner gave instructions to the officials while reviewing the various works going on in the villages including Punjab Construction Programme, MP Led Scheme, Smart Villages Campaign, Un-Tied Fund, Rural Sports Stadium, Jan Suvidha Camp, Amrit Sarovar and said that A report regarding the action taken on the instructions given during the meeting should be given in the next monthly meeting, so that the performance done during a month can be properly evaluated. All block development and panchayat officers of the district were present in the meeting.
