Hoshiarpur - Under Road Safety Month-2024, on the guidelines of Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur, a corner meeting was held at Driving Test Track Hoshiarpur and Bus Stand Hoshiarpur to make common people aware about road safety. Meanwhile, reflector tape was also installed behind the buses.
Regional Transport Officer Ravinder Singh Gill and GM Punjab Roadways Hoshiarpur Depot Jasbir Singh Kotla were also present on this occasion.
Meanwhile, Secretary Regional Transport Officer Ravinder Singh Gill told the motorists that it is necessary to have reflectors on every vehicle because accidents occur in darkness and fog due to lack of reflectors on vehicles. He said that as a campaign, the work of installing reflectors on vehicles is being done by the department and with the support of the traffic police, maximum awareness is being spread among the people regarding traffic rules.
He appealed to the residents of the district to follow the traffic rules, because road accidents happen only when the traffic rules are not followed.
