An awareness camp regarding natural farming was held at village Janiwal

Nawanshahr - Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Langaroa organized an awareness camp about natural farming at Janiwal village yesterday. In this camp, Assistant Professor (Vegetable Science) Dr Aarti Verma gave detailed information to the farmers about the importance of natural farming.

Dr Aarti Verma also shared information with the farmers about the nutritional value of fruits and vegetables produced through natural farming. He also told about the successful cultivation of winter vegetables and mushrooms. He said that KVK is making farmers aware by organizing awareness camps, training camps and exhibitions in various villages regarding natural farming in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district.
On this occasion, Dr. Baljit Singh, Assistant Professor (Entomology) of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, shared information about the important points and aspects of natural farming, prevention of pests and diseases through natural methods. On this occasion, Demonstrator (Planetary Science) Renu Bala said that various training courses are running at KVK. From which farmers can increase their income by getting training. Apart from this, they also found out about self-help organizations. 64 farmers participated in this awareness camp. Apart from this, Sarpanch Jeet Ram, Krishi Sakhiyan Kamlesh Rani and Joginder Kaur of Janiwal village also participated in the camp.
