Patiala, December 7 - Punjab State Power Corporation Limited is continuously making efforts to provide uninterrupted and best electricity services to the consumers. Under this series, Director Admin Jasbir Singh Sur Singh held a high level meeting with the officers related to various Constituent Circles Tarn Taran, Urban Amritsar, Civil Construction Board Amritsar and P&M Constituency Amritsar and issued instructions to them.
In the meantime, there was a consideration of starting TRY regarding Taran Taran divisional constituency. They also considered the scheme of installing solar in the border belt area under the border zone so that new sources of power generation can be increased in the interest of the environment. In order to provide computers in the office for the convenience of consumers, the details were asked to be sent to the IT office. Similarly, people who have installed transformers (single, 3 phase) at personal level, were also considered to prepare a proposal to include them in PSPCL. Concerned officials were informed about turning the meters of ME Lab Worka Taran Taran.
Similarly, he was asked to send the details of the vacant posts of part-time cleaners working under Taran Taran circle, so that they can be appointed under the campaign of the state government. Meanwhile, consideration was also given to reducing the power loss occurring in Patti and Bhikhiwind mandals. He also reviewed the status of ongoing civil construction works and new works under Taran Taran and gave instructions to speed up their progress. He also learned about the status of efforts being made by PSPCL to provide details of the connections of the tubes running on the urban feeders and to shift them. He also informed about the details of RDSS scheme.
While in connection with Halka Urban Amritsar, he also learned about the status regarding the demarcation of PSPL land located at Bharariwal at Urban Amritsar. He also got information from the officials about the status of construction of the new building at Hall Gate. Regarding the Civil Construction Board Amritsar, he learned about the position of building maintenance funds, so that they can be utilized in the public interest. While he obtained information about the latest status of civil construction and maintenance works under the border zone and asked to provide details of pending, approved works.
Regarding P&M Constituency Amritsar, he received information about the status of double circuit of Beas-Butari upto Liddhar line, which will provide uninterrupted and better electricity services to the people of the respective areas. He also learned about the status of dismantling of 66 KV line from 132 KV Bhikhiwind to 66 KV Amarkot and ordered to speed up the work. They also got a report about shifting the tower from Sur Singh Ground. Along with this, it was also considered to upgrade Sur Singh sub station from 66 KV to 132 KV. Instructions were also given to provide the vacancy statement of the employees with the aim of providing new employment opportunities to the youth.
