Giving information in this regard, the state coordinator Kuldeep Singh Runka said that in the meeting the conveners and state leaders prepared for the warning march -- (Baj Singh Khaira and Sukhjinder Singh Harika in Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Bathinda, Faridkot and Jalandhar districts), (Firozepur, Surinder Kamboj in Mansa, Fazilka and Muktsar), (Gurjant Singh Walia and Narinder Makha in Sangrur and Patiala), (Harwinder Singh Bilga in Malerkotla), (Sukhraj Singh Kahlon and Amanbir Singh Guraya in Kapurthala, Gurdaspur and Pathankot), (Nawan Shahr and Surinder Kumar Puari in Ludhiana), (Sukhwinder Singh Chahal and Baljit Singh Salana in Ropar, Mohali and Fatehgarh Sahib), (Amandeep Sharma in Hoshiarpur) gave an encouraging report of the meetings held and said that a large number of teachers from the districts Will join in March.

A new attempt is being made to make raw teachers only by increasing the honorarium. Computer teachers are not being shifted in the department. The higher grade pay recommended by the Fifth Pay Commission, which was implemented in 2011, has been scrapped by this government. Instead of repeating the salary at 125% dearness allowance on January 2016, instead of 2.59 on 113% dearness allowance on January 2015, the salary has been revised with a coefficient of 2.25. The balance of 66 months of this salary increase, the balance of dearness allowance installments, the balance of earned leave has not been awarded even till date. Three installments of 12% dearness allowance have not been released, while the fourth installment will fall due in January. The teachers were expected to receive dearness allowance installments on Diwali, but the teachers were forced to celebrate Black Diwali. Instead of canceling the basic pay and appointment notification, the government is going to the Supreme Court. Appointments are being made on central scale from 17th July 2020. Promotions of all categories are not being done for many years. ACT courses are not being recruited based on merit. Adarsh schools are not being taken back from contractors. Even the department could not change the name of the post of SLA even in 2 years. The Joint Teacher Morcha Punjab appealed to the teachers to participate in the warning march to solve the teacher issues.
