General Secretary of World Famous Sahitya Sabha Srijana Kendar Kapurthala (Reg.) and young poet Shehbaz Khan's first poetry collection "Tabeer" was celebrated at the center's office Virsa Vihar. Ustad poet Gurdayal Roshan participated as the chief guest in this event, while the president of the center poet Kanwar Iqbal Singh, special guests Dr. Harbhajan Singh, Baldeep Kaur Sandhu, Dr. Asa Singh Ghuman and poet Kanwar Imtiaz's wife Farida Begum Sushobhit were in the presiding committee.
The event started with a poet-court of guest poets from different districts of Punjab. Dr. Ram Murthy and Naturedeep Kahlon talked openly about the poetry in Tabir! Presenting his views, Gurdayal Roshan Ji said that literature is a tool through which we can give guidance to the society and ourselves. The writer's writing is a way for us. Baldeep Kaur Sandhu shed light on Shehbaz's poetry and said that Shehbaz has the skill to use humor and this makes his poetry beautiful. Dr. Harbhajan Singh said that the different aspects of Shahbaz's poetry which the reader enjoys. Dr. Asa Singh Ghuman said in his own words that literature is the only thing that can bring a change in the society and create a surprising change in our thinking and life. Prof. Kulwant Singh Aujla, Roshan Khaira, Jaspreet Kaur District Language Officer Kapurthala, Prin. Promila Arora and Jasleen Kaur Chugh presented their views on Shahbaz Khan's writing.
Kanwar Iqbal Singh, president of the center, spoke in detail about the personality and poetry of the author of this book. The ceremony of releasing the book was performed by the entire presidency! A book exhibition was also organized by the creation center to promote the book culture more! In the end, Shahbaz Khan took his family members along with him and gave special honor to some of the guests from outside by presenting beautiful flowers, best type of pens and diaries!
