On this occasion, Karmaveer Bali said that drug trade is going on on a large scale in the tea shops outside the Civil Hospital. As soon as the morning comes, there is a queue of drug addicts. It is from here that drug addicts are selling drugs at high prices. Surprisingly, the Cabinet Minister is visiting the city daily, yet medicines are being sold in the Civil Hospital. Drug dealers are so fearless that they don't care about anyone. They are selling drugs without any fear. Karamveer Bali said that if action is not taken by the District President of the Committee even after a week, an indefinite strike should be held till the drug trade ends here. Keeping public interest in mind, immediate action should be taken. Nirmal Singh, Narinder Singh etc. were present on this occasion.
