But it is very sad that due to the poor performance of the previous governments, the elected representatives of the people, the Kandi canal was taken out through pipes against the demand of the people and the canal was divided into two parts. And the canal fell prey to corruption. Today, when the Punjab government is engaged on a large scale to complete this canal Then a lot of land of many villages in Kandhi area has been left without pipeline of Kandhi Canal.
He said that the demand of Kandhi Sangharsh Committee is that the maximum land of all the villages from Chhuchhewal to Bhadi should be constructed according to the demand of the Moghe people and the geographical position of the land in order to facilitate the water supply of the Kandhi canal. On this occasion, Axion Vishwapal Boyle, on behalf of the canal department team, appealed to the Kandhi Sangharsh Committee and the people that the villages whose land has been left outside the pipeline of the Kandhi Canal should jointly submit the application to the department. After which the department is committed to provide canal water facility to maximum land to save the underground water as per the instructions of the government.
On this occasion, giving confidence to the Kandhi Sangharsh Committee and the people who came from different villages, MLA Mrs. Santosh Kataria said that as per the demand of the Kandi Sangharsh Committee, no village will be kept free from canal water. Canal water facility will be provided to Chappe Chappe of Kandhi area.
