Nawanshahr, May 17:- Lok Sabha elections-2024 in the state of Punjab are to be held on 01.06.2024. In order to conduct these Lok Sabha Elections-2024 as Green Elections, District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa, IAS has issued an order that all persons falling within the limits of District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Vehicles (two wheelers/four wheelers and other vehicles which are required to be polluting as per government instructions) will not be driven without pollution certificate.
He said that Senior Police Captain Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Regional Transport Officer Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and Sub Divisional Magistrate, Nawanshahr/Banga/Balachaur will be responsible for implementing this order.
