At the same time, he said that the Punjab government cannot suppress the demand for old pension by taking such actions.

Mr. Mann and Sanhugra said that the Punjab government has not yet issued the SOP even after two years have passed since the notification regarding restoration of old pension. And the state committee has started a poster campaign in the whole of Punjab for restoration of old pension He said that the employees will not be afraid of such anti-democratic tactics being adopted by the Punjab Police to suppress the voices of lakhs of NPS employees of Punjab and will continue to issue their continuous protest through the poster campaign. He warned the government and said that the government will have to bear the consequences of such foolish actions in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The leaders said that the employees suffering from NPS will now sit comfortably in their homes, Sagun will intensify this struggle against the government. They said that the government should immediately release the arrested state leaders and solve the problems of the employees.
