
Oath given to young voters to vote
Hoshiarpur - Voter awareness was organized in SD College Hoshiarpur regarding the votes in the Lok Sabha elections. SDM-cum-Assistant Returning Officer Preetinder Singh Bains administered the oath to all the eligible voters present at the college. He urged the voters to cast their vote in the Lok Sabha elections as part of the voter awareness campaign.

About 400 students present on the occasion were given the oath to vote and also resolved to motivate all other voters to vote. Meanwhile, District Sweep Nodal Officer Preet Kohli said that public awareness is needed to increase vote percentage in the district. Appealed to leave all work and vote first. He said that 2024 is special for all of us in which general elections are to be held in the largest democracy. Talking about the presence of around 15 crore young voters in the country, he urged the young voters to participate in the elections more and more. All the young voters resolved that they will work towards it with their full energy and they will definitely take their parents to the polling stations on this day.
