Garhshankar - Today on 24th July 2024, a delegation of Kandi Sangharsh Committee met the convener of Kandi Sangharsh Committee Darshan Singh Mattoo ji and SDM Garhshankar Major Shri Shiv Raj Singh Ball PCS and a demand letter was given. In which it was demanded that Kandi canal water should be supplied to the fields of Kandi area, water supplied to Quantum Paper Mill Sela Khurd should be stopped. Broken Moghas should be repaired. Kandi Canal Office should be built in Garhshankar so that the problems can be resolved soon. Misuse of water should be stopped, new hair should be installed and water should be arranged. Water leakage should be stopped. Pipes should be laid for irrigation of the fields situated on the banks of Kandi. Gurnek Singh Bajjal, Subhash Mattoo, Harbhajan Singh Atwal, Jang Bahadur Singh, Jujhar Singh Mattoo, Harnek Singh, Captain Karnail Singh, Iqbal Singh Jasowal, Mohanlal Binewal, Prem Singh Rana, Bakshish Singh Dayal, Sukhwinder Singh, Amarjit Singh Kulewal, Hoshiar Singh Goldy, Harnek Singh, Charanjit Singh, Nirmal Singh and others were present in this delegation. If the demands are not met, we will be forced to struggle.
