Patiala, July 20 - The body of a final year student of the Government Medical College here was found in her hostel room. The deceased has been identified as Subhasini (30), a resident of Chennai. Subhasini's dead body was spotted by the hostel warden this afternoon, following which the police were called to the spot. After the arrival of the family tomorrow, the police will take further action by recording the statement of the warden. SP City Muhammad Sarfraz Alam said that the cause of the student's death is yet to be known but the whole matter will be clear after the post-mortem.
Subhasini was studying anesthesia in college. She was in her room since Monday, on Saturday when she did not come out of her room as per the routine, the hostel warden opened the room with the master key and Subhashini's death was revealed.
