Patiala, April 30 - Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development)-cum-Assistant Returning Officer Navreet Kaur Sekhon held a meeting with all the staff under her, Sector Officer, Master Trainer today. On this occasion, a cake was cut regarding the sweep and all the staff were asked to vote through postal ballot/EDC.
He said that in Patiala rural 110, about 1500 employees are in the process of election, including presiding officers and polling officers, thus in 13-Patiala Lok Sabha constituency, about 15000 employees will be on election duty. He encouraged everyone to vote and appealed that every employee should ensure that all his family members also vote. He said that voting is a moral responsibility of every voter and a right given by the Constitution of India which should be exercised.
