After the farmer's death, Shiromani Akali Dal's Patiala Lok Sabha seat candidate NK Sharma and Congress candidate Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi met farmers' organizations. NK Sharma said that the central government and national parties are becoming opponents of farmers. Farmers are protesting peacefully against the BJP leaders but here too atrocities are being committed on these farmers. After the death of farmer Shubkaran Singh, farmers are continuously losing their lives during the struggle, but the national parties are not paying any attention to it. BJP state president Sunil Jakhar has expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased farmer and said that while protesting Praneet Kaur's road show, the health of a farmer deteriorated and he fell unconscious and later died. It is wrong to say that his death was due to police brutality. Some people are doing politics on this death.
