Meanwhile, State President of Land Mortgage Bank Employees' Union Mr. Jasveer Singh Gill, General Secretary Mr. Dharminder Singh Sandhu, Vice President Mrs. Mandeep Kaur and Finance Secretary Mr. Vishwadeep Singh Brar said in a statement issued here that since April 15, the employees have not met the above demands. Kalam Chhod strike has been started for the time being. The state president of the union S. Jasveer Singh Gill said that the sixth pay commission has been implemented by the Punjab government on the employees of all its departments from July 1, 2021, but the employees of this bank have been ignored.
The Suba Pradhan said that only the approval of the said file has to be given and no financial burden of the expenditure incurred on it will fall on the state treasury of Punjab.
