Una, 26 March:- Various activities are being organized for voter awareness under the SVEEP (Systematic Voter Education and Electoral Participation) program in Una district regarding the Lok Sabha elections. In this series, an awareness program was organized at Government Degree College Beaton on Tuesday. During this, the youth were made aware about the importance of voting with the theme 'Celebration of elections, pride of the country'.
At the same time, District Election Officer Jatin Lal said that all efforts are being made to make the young voters in the district, especially the new voters, aware about the importance of voting and the exercise of their franchise. He said that youth have an important role in strengthening democracy. All eligible youth, new voters should exercise their franchise. He appealed to the youth to vote themselves as well as to motivate their parents and neighborhood people to participate in the voting process.
