Nawanshahr police arrested two youths with 6 kg of opium

Nawanshahr - District Police Nawanshahr has arrested two alleged accused with 6 kg 100 grams of opium during the operation against drugs. During the press conference, District Police Chief Dr. Mehtab Singh said that Surinder Singh SICIA staff has succeeded in arresting two drug smugglers during the patrol.

Apart from opium, a motorcycle has also been recovered from them. He said that these alleged accused were identified as Lovedeep son of Kashmir Ram resident of Jainpur and Akashdeep Singh Gill alias Jaskaran Singh son of Gurdeep Singh resident of Sajawalpur. He said that these two accused have been produced before the court and remanded for three days. The district police chief said that no other case has been registered against these two youths. The police is interrogating them deeply about who they bought opium from and to whom they sell it.
