
People happy with the settlement of pending transfers thanked the government to the Deputy Commissioner
Patiala, January 15 - A large number of people of Patiala district took advantage of the second special camp organized under the guidelines of the state government for settlement of transfer and verification cases related to the revenue department. Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni himself took command of the camp at the District Administrative Complex of Patiala, including the camps set up at the sub-division level, and after listening to the problems of the people who came to the camp, gave instructions for immediate resolution.

Darshan Singh, a resident of Adarsh Colony, who came to the camp, said that his death had been pending for a long time, which has been recorded during the special camp organized by the Hon'ble government. He said that the biggest benefit of the camp is that the work done in days is being done in minutes due to all the officers gathering under one roof. Darshan Singh while appreciating this initiative of the Punjab government said that such camps should be held continuously, this will end the hardships of the people. Jaswinder Singh, a resident of village Sultanpur, said that his blood relation was registered six years ago and today his transfer has been approved during the special camp. He thanked the Punjab government and the district administration and said that this camp has provided a great facility to the common people. He said that due to such special camps, land disputes in the state will end in the near future. Sharing his experience of the special camp set up to register the deaths, Sukhwinder Singh of village Charason said that immediately after coming to the camp, action was taken by the officials and the deaths were registered. SDM Patiala Dr Ismat Vijay Singh, District Revenue Officer Navdeep Singh, Tehsildar Jinshu Bansal and Naib Tehsildar Pawandeep Singh were also present in this special camp.
