District Hoshiarpur gave commendable performance in Kaya Kalp program: Dr. Harbans Kaur

Hoshiarpur - The main objective of Kaya Kalp, an ongoing program under Swachh Bharat Program, is to provide better health facilities to people in government health institutions. Talking about this, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Harbans Kaur said that the first peer assessment of Kaya Kalp of the year 2023-24 was done, then external assessment and then the final assessment was done by the teams from the state.

Talking about this, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Harbans Kaur said that the first peer assessment of Kaya Kalp of the year 2023-24 was done, then external assessment and then the final assessment was done by the teams from the state.
In this, District Hospital Hoshiarpur stood second in the state with 89.10% marks. Which is a matter of pride for all of us. All the three SDHs of our district cleared this assessment with more than 70% marks and SDH Mukerians secured the second position with 88.7%. Five CHCs of the district Bhol Kalota, Mahilpur, Tanda, Bhunga and Sham Churasi also cleared it and received commendable awards. PHC Posi topped the district with 77.20% marks. Health Wellness Center Koliya Block Budhwara bagged the first position in the district with 91.30%. Under this program of adopting Kaya Kalp and eco-friendly approach, special efforts are made for cleanliness of government hospital, maintenance of records, disposal of bio-medical waste and saving electricity keeping public interest in mind. Dr. Harbans Kaur appreciated the tireless efforts of the officers and employees working with full dedication in the health institutions of the district for this achievement.
