International Disability Day celebrated by the district administration

Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) in his address gave information about the services provided to the disabled at the government level. On this occasion, SMO Dr. Satwinder Pal Singh and ACS Dr. Balbir Kumar addressed the disabled and provided information about the services provided by the health department. Chairman District Planning Committee Satnam Singh Jalalpur and Constituency In-charge Lalit Mohan Pathak said in their address that 42 services have been converted into online services by the Punjab government so far, due to which investors will not have to visit government offices.
On this occasion choreography, Bhangra and other cultural items were presented by the disabled children of Sardar Tara Singh Kahma Special School Red Cross Society Nawanshahr. On this occasion, despite being handicapped, Gurveer Kumar (handicapped) and other children of the special school were honored for their special achievements. 54 cases were registered for UDID during the event. Apart from this, in 34 cases, applications for obtaining medical certificates for the first time have been made online and in 30 cases, UDIDs have been created on the spot.
