Patiala, December 12 -Additional District Election Officer-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner Anupreeta Johal informed that as per the instructions of the State Election Commission Punjab, the work of preparing voter lists for the Gram Panchayat general elections is going on in the district.
He said that the voter lists are to be prepared from December 11 to December 18 and the preliminary publications of the prepared voter list will be released on December 20, 2023.
On which claims and objections will be taken from December 21 to December 29, 2023 and the registered claims and objections will be settled by January 5, 2024.
He said that after this entire process, the final publication of the voter list will be done on January 7, 2024 for the general elections of Gram Panchayat.
