Patiala, November 21 - According to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the due rights will be given to the employees of Punjab on time and at the same time to eliminate any kind of corruption in the departments to increase the departments. Every possible effort will be made, for which employees must have honesty and good spirit towards work. This was expressed by PRTC Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana during a meeting with Punjab Roadways, Panbus and PRTC Contract Workers Union Punjab at New Bus Stand. Speaking to the media, Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana said that a meeting was held by the union on 24 May 2023 regarding the demand letter given on this issue, in which during the meeting, the representatives of the union discussed alternative arrangements for the buses of the first running kilometer scheme. As such, the same number of new kilometer scheme buses were also agreed, but the union made the same demand as the main issue again and staged a protest at the new bus stand. According to the information, in relation to the protest being carried out by the above union, when the chairman talked to the union, instead of saying that the new demands were to increase the salaries of the employees, increase in the leave of the employees, the main issue was kilometer buses. It was about not getting it, but still Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana openly discussed the issues with his wisdom and apart from this, the union was given a meeting on November 23 to discuss the rest of the manga, after which the union protested. The strike was called off.
