Una, November 8 - Complete and balanced development of Himachal Pradesh is the top priority of the state government, several schemes and programs have been launched by the state government to turn it into a ground reality, which will directly benefit the people of the state.  |
This information was given by Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri while addressing reporters on the occasion of formal foundation stone laying and inauguration of various 22 development projects costing Rs. 43 crore 20 lakh in Haroli assembly constituency. He said that today the foundation stones of various development works worth Rs 33.56 crore have been laid and development works worth Rs 9.64 crore have been inaugurated.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that there will be no shortage of funds in the development works in the state and it will be ensured that every development work being started is completed within the minimum stipulated time. He instructed the officials of Jal Shakti Department, Public Works Department and Transport Department to pay special attention to the speed as well as the quality of the works started. He said that Haroli Assembly Constituency is moving towards decisive development and projects are being planned in the fields of roads, health, education, drinking water and irrigation to meet the needs of the present generation and future generations. The benefit of this can also be ensured. He said that 32 crore rupees are being spent on providing drinking water in the bulk drug park being built in the Vidhan Sabha constituency Haroli, 40 crore rupees on road construction and about 15 crore rupees on electricity supply.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Bhakra-Jamalpur power line is being connected to Haroli. Apart from this, electricity line is being laid from Nazar Nahri to Pekhubela and Polian at a cost of Rs 95 crore to meet the electricity requirements of the bulk drug park. Apart from this, a new electricity sub-station is being established at Tahliwal at a cost of Rs 31 crore. He said that with the completion of all these power projects, the power needs of the region will be met for many decades to come.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that 19 drinking water schemes are being constructed in Una district through the Asian Development Bank, on which 139 crore rupees are being spent. He instructed the officials of the Asian Development Bank that ADB in the district by May 2024. Ensure completion of all projects and under construction projects in Balial and Nagnoli in next 1 month. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the construction of the bus stand at Haroli at a cost of about 7 crore rupees will be completed within a year. He said that the longest Rampur-Haroli bridge in the state is being developed for the convenience of tourists and the safety and facilities of the people visiting it are being increased. He said that CCTV cameras are being installed on the Rampur-Haroli bridge for security reasons. While piaus and rain shelters have been constructed here for the convenience of the people.

He said that inauguration and public offering in Haroli assembly constituency on November 8 at a cost of Rs 43.20 crore in a single day is a record in itself, in which foundation stones of various development works worth Rs 33.56 crore have been laid:-

On this occasion, he also inspected the water storage tank under construction at Polian Beit and the rest house under construction at Haroli and gave necessary guidelines to the officials of Jal Shakti Department.
