Regarding the results of different categories of boys in this state level badminton competition, Adhyatam Prakash Tyur said that under the leadership of District Education Officer (Secondary) Dr. Ginni Duggal and the supervision of District Sports Coordinator Dr. Indu Bala, 17 years were completed during these competitions. Jalandhar district team stood first, Sri Amritsar team stood second, Gurdaspur team stood third and Hoshiarpur team stood fourth while in 19 years category teams from Gurdaspur, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Sri Amritsar and Patiala districts stood first four positions respectively. .
He said that in the singles competition of the 17-year age group, Samap from Jalandhar won the first place while Nibesh from Amritsar came second. In the doubles competition of 17 years category, the team of Divyan Sachdeva and Anish Bharadwaj of Jalandhar became the winner while the team of Sahib and Kritaagya of Sri Amritsar became the runners-up.
Laksh of Gurdaspur stood first and Ravi Uday Singh of Sri Muktsar Sahib stood second in the boys' 19-year category singles competition. In the 19-year-old doubles competition, the team of Laksh and Tejveer Gurdaspur won, while the team of Manik Bansal and Ravi Uday Singh of Sri Muktsar Sahib stood second.
During the prize distribution ceremony, District Sports Coordinator Dr. Indu Bala distributed prizes to the winning teams while Head Teacher Mr. Sanjiv Kumar thanked everyone for their support in making the tournament a success.
