SAS Nagar, October 9- A delegation of Residence Welfare Society led by Rajwinder Singh Sarao met the MLA of Mohali constituency Kulwant Singh and gave a demand letter regarding the problems of the residents.

The delegation sz. Kulwant Singh was told that many problems have to be faced while crossing the TDI Banur road as there is no direct link road with Mohali and Chandigarh for the residents of these sectors. The association demanded that the road dividing 95-96 sector should be constructed on priority basis. Along with this, there was also a demand for construction of roads 94-95 and 96-97 and construction of a service road near the main gate of TDI.
Jasveer Singh Garang, vice president of the society, while giving information, said that the constituency MLA called the concerned officers on the spot and asked them to speed up the process to build these roads.
Mr. Garhang said that in these sectors of TDI, no solution is being given to the revenue routes by the builder and work is being done by giving temporary routes to around 800-900 flats which are made up of someone's private property and May close at any time. The delegation demanded that the revenue channels of these sectors should be settled and the ten percent land between these sectors which was not purchased by the builder should be acquired by GAMADA. There was also a demand to open Mohalla Clinic in TDI.
On this occasion, Gulzar Singh Landran, AS Sekhon, Sadhu Singh, Manohar Lal Sharma, Arvind, Advocate Ashok, Gagandeep Singh, Bant Singh Bhullar, Parminder Singh, Neeru Bala, Tanu Agarwal, Master Surmukh Singh, Harminder Singh Sohi, Sukhbir Singh Dhillon, Sandeep Sharma, Mohit Madan, Arun Kumar, Gurbachan Singh Mander, Gurdev Singh, Sikandar Singh, Harpal Singh, Pardeep Verma, Jasbir Singh, Jagdeep Singhath Gursevak Singh, Bal Krishna Singh, Amarjit Singh Dhanoa and other residents were present.
