Garhshankar - Father-in-law of Balachore MLA Santosh Kataria, former MLA Ram Kishan Kataria, who was honored with the status of Baba Bohar of Balachore constituency, passed away at IVY Hospital yesterday. His last journey will start from village Garhi Kanungo at 9 am on Tuesday and pass through Balachour Chowk, Bulewal Mor, Thopia Mor, Bhadi, Majhot, Mangupur, Malewal, Singhpur and reach his native village Pojewal at 1 pm. . It is to be mentioned that the former MLA Ram Kishan Kataria is also called the Messiah of education revolution brought in difficult times in the area behind village Pojewal. During his tenure as an MLA, Pojewal put pressure on the government and built a government college and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in a backward area. During his tenure, he also played a major role in making Balachore a full tehsil by upgrading it from a sub tehsil. He did innumerable such important works during the legislature which can be counted on the fingers. With his departure, Balachore constituency has been deprived of a wise leader. Due to their love, people want to conduct this mourning journey on their own. It is being organized by common people only. Ram Kishan Kataria's political legacy is being ably carried forward by Santosh Kataria, the current Aam Aadmi Party MLA from his daughter-in-law's Balachor constituency.
