
An assessment camp was held at Saroa to provide artificial limbs/assistance to the disabled.
Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and Social Justice Empowerment, organized an assessment camp today at Shiv Mandir Saroa to provide artificial limbs and assistive devices to the disabled persons under the ADIP scheme.
Garhshankar 23 September (Balveer Chopra) Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities and Social Justice Empowerment, organized an assessment camp today at Shiv Mandir Saroa to provide artificial limbs and assistive devices to the disabled persons under the ADIP scheme. The inauguration was done by Jasbir Kaur Block Development Project Officer Saroa. , Giving information in this regard, Jasveer Kaur, Block Development Project Officer, Saroa said that Artificial Limb Manufacturing Corporation of India (OLIMCO) is providing artificial limbs/aids to the disabled people, so that more and more needy disabled people can be provided in the villages and towns. This camp has been organized today under Block Saroa and for the assessment of those who require artificial limbs/assistance. Whatever artificial limb/assistance they need will be provided by Alimco soon by setting up the camp. During today's evaluation camp, disabled persons were examined for artificial limbs/aids by Alimco Dr. Punit Sardubey, Dr. Ramesh Kumar and Dr. Rahul Sharma. On this occasion, Praveen Kumar Vasistha, Johnny Block President AAP, Dr. Santi Bassi, Gurchain Ram, Palwinder Kaur, Bimla Rani, Kashmir Kaur, all the supervisors and all the villagers were present.
