Giving information regarding this Dr. Malkit Singh Mann said that the purpose of this workshop is to keep the youth away from the influence of drugs, HIV. To encourage, promote voluntary blood donation drive and TB. Information was to be given about the work done by the youth in the Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
He said that the calendar of the activities that the Red Ribbon Club of each college will conduct in the college throughout the year was also released. On this occasion, monetary assistance was also released to all the colleges for the programs of Red Ribbon Clubs.
On this occasion, Mrs. Seema Malik of Shivalik Institute of Education and Research Mohali gave information about the formation, existence, structure, operation etc. of the Red Ribbon Club.
