SAS Nagar, September 7, On the auspicious and holy day of Janam Ashtami, Deputy Mayor Mohali Kuljeet Singh Bedi visited various temples and paid obeisance to the devotees. Addressing on this occasion, Kuljit Singh Bedi said that such religious events prove to be especially helpful in connecting Nai Paneeri with its heritage.

Mister. Bedi said that this day of Janmashtami teaches people to live a life of peace and harmony. He said that Shri Krishna was the messenger of peace and truth. He said that the teachings of Shri Krishna absolutely strengthen the bond of harmony and brotherhood and that is why people of all religions and sects celebrate Janmashtami with great pomp and show.
