Patiala, May 29 – BJP leader and Lok Sabha candidate from Patiala Praneet Kaur has outlined a transformative plan for the development of Patiala inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India. Addressing gatherings at Shutrana, Samana and Patar, Praneet Kaur offered her detailed assurance to make Patiala a model of prosperity and progress.
BJP leader Praneet Kaur said, "This guarantee has been prepared on the basis of the suggestions received from the voters of villages, towns and cities of Patiala Lok Sabha. Millions of people have benefited from Modi's pro-people policies in Patiala, people tell me that they believe only Modi can ensure a developed Punjab and a developed Patiala. He said that as always he would give priority to Punjab and Patiala (Punjab's sovereignty) and work with the central government to address important issues like the proposed Samana railway line besides securing the Ghaggar flood.
Their plan includes a target of making 1 lakh women Lakhpati Didis, providing interest-free loans of up to Rs 5 lakh to self-help groups and continuing the free gas connection scheme under Ujjwala. He said it aims to develop Patiala as a start-up hub for youth, provide loans up to Rs 20 lakh and promote traditional sports by enhancing sports infrastructure.
