Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Gimpa started planting plants in Railway Mandi Ground

Hoshiarpur - Cabinet Minister Punjab Brahm Shankar Jimpa today inaugurated the plantation program at Railway Mandi Ground in Hoshiarpur. Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini were also present with him on this occasion. Meanwhile, 100 tree guards were also provided by Sonalika for the protection of plants.

During the program, the cabinet minister said that Sonalika industry has made a very important contribution in the development of Hoshiarpur. He said that along with the beautification and development of the city, Sonalika Udyog has also been a pioneer in meeting the needs of the city dwellers. Cabinet Minister Jimpa said that Sonalika Group's contribution has been significant not only in the industrial sector but also in social and environmental activities.
On this occasion, the Cabinet Minister congratulated Economic Policy and Planning Board Punjab and Sonalika Udyog Vice Chairman (Cabinet Minister Rank) Amrit Sagar Mittal on his birthday. He recalled the contribution of Sonalika in the economy of Punjab and said that this industry has played an important role in the development of the state. He said that the Mittal family has always been a leader in social service and due to their efforts, the city of Hoshiarpur has got a new identity. Highlighting the importance of the plantation programme, Gimpa said that environmental protection is the greatest need of the day.
He said that plants are not only necessary to keep our environment clean, but also to ensure a healthy environment for future generations. He appealed to all the citizens to plant more and more plants and take care of them, so that our city can be full of greenery. Atul Sharma from Sonalika thanked the Cabinet Minister and other dignitaries on the occasion and said that Sonalika Group has always been committed to the welfare of the society and protection of the environment.
