   He said that this is a commendable initiative of the Hon'ble government. He said that out of these ten vans equipped with qualified staff, medicines and equipment to provide quality health facilities to the people, five vans are being sent to district Patiala and five vans are being sent to district Sangrur to provide their services. He said that medical officers, lab technicians, pharmacists and social protection officers have been posted in these vans. 180 types of medicines and 40 types of lab tests will also be done free of charge to the patients as per their requirement. He said that laborers working at kilns, people harvesting or planting crops who cannot leave their work and go to health centers for medicine or the elderly who cannot go far from their homes, are transported to their homes through these mobile vans. Health facilities will be made available nearby. Apart from this, where there are no mohalla clinics or areas where more cases of a particular disease are being reported in mohalla clinics, those areas will be covered. Appreciating the work of his Hans Foundation, he said that even during the floods in Punjab last year, this organization has served the people of Punjab a lot. Harish Chandra Pandey, Deputy Manager of the Hans Foundation, said that in coordination with the civil surgeons of Patiala and Sangrur, a roster of block-wise villages has been prepared in remote areas or where health services are not reaching due to any reason. And a van will visit about 24 villages in a month to provide free health services to the patients.
