Nawanshahr - Sardar Jarnail Singh Palli Jhikki, secretary of the local management committee of the college, was specially present to bless the students in the Bhangra camp under the guidance of Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder at Sikh National College Charan Kanwal Banga.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh welcomed Sardar Jarnail Singh by presenting a bouquet of flowers and said that every year during summer vacations in schools and colleges, we organize this Bhangra training camp in the college. In which the social and cultural personalities of the area reach and boost the spirits of the learners. Sardar Jarnail Singh Palli Jhikki while addressing said that every learner should benefit from this initiative taken by the college.
Camp in-charge Prof. Gurpreet Singh said that there is a great response from students who want to learn Bhangra and so far more than 80 registrations have been done. Renowned Bhangra coach Pawan Kumar is giving Bhangra training in this camp. On this occasion, Jatinder Mohan, Rajveer Singh (Karate Coach), old and new students of the Bhangra team of the college, Varunpreet, Gurpreet, Milan, Ajay, Harvinder, Arshdeep, Kuljit, Karan and Simran etc. were present.
