On this occasion, Director of Indus Academy and Indus Public School Colonel SPS Cheema said that it is a matter of pride for him that Sub Lieutenant Jaskirat Singh has been commissioned in the Indian Navy. He said that currently the Indian Army is facing a severe shortage of officers and the rate of induction of Punjabi youth in the armed forces is also decreasing. It said that their organization trains youth to join the defense forces and works to prepare cadets academically and holistically to join the Indian Armed Forces.
On this occasion, Jaskirat Singh said that the election was not an easy process. But due to the right direction of his teachers and the support and blessings of his parents, he has been able to reach this destination. Jaspreet Singh said that now he wants to join the army as soon as possible and serve Mother India.
