Patiala, April 16 – Two knockout matches of the ongoing 67th All India Railway (Men) Cricket Championship 2023-24 were played at the PLW Cricket Stadium here. The first match was between the teams of East Coast Railway and South Western Railway.

East Coast Railway scored 166 for 10 in 44.2 overs, with Girja Prasana and Sujith Lenka scoring 70 off 102 balls and 59 off 57 balls respectively. South Western Railway's Kishan Bedare took five wickets. In reply, South Western Railway chased down the target and scored 167 runs for two wickets to win the match by 8 wickets. South Western Railway's Rahul Singh (not out) and Atharv scored 73 off 80 balls and 54 off 80 balls respectively. In the second match between Northern Railway and North Eastern Railway, Northern Railway set a target of 373 runs for six wickets in 50 overs. Northern Railway's Pratham Singh and Ansh scored 80 off 56 balls and 76 off 78 balls respectively. Sahab Yuvraj Singh of North Eastern Railway took 2 wickets. North Eastern Railway chased the target but the team could only score 335 runs for 10 wickets in 48.3 overs and lost the match by 38 runs. North Eastern Railway's Saurabh Dubey and Nishant Roy scored 63 off 71 balls and 68 off 47 balls respectively.
