Nawanshahr - Dr Aksita Gupta, IAS Sub Divisional Magistrate, Nawanshahr held a meeting with Senior Medical Officers, BDPOs, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars of Sub Division Nawanshahr. In the meeting Sub Divisional Magistrate, Nawanshahr informed that Heat Wave Season 2024 has started.
Therefore, according to Action Plan 2024, instructions were issued by various departments to make the general public aware and make necessary arrangements to get relief from the heat. He further informed that District Education Officers and CDPOs will make special arrangements at their level to protect school/anganwadi children from heat. On the occasion, the senior medical officers were ordered to provide the necessary medicines in the hospital for the care of the patients suffering from heat. Also asked to follow the issued instructions Do's and Don't. Finally, the general public was appealed to refrain from going out of their homes without work between 12 noon and 3 am during the summer season.
