Una, March 20 - Voter awareness programs were organized as part of sweep activities in Ambota and Mawa Kohlan of Gagret with the aim of ensuring 100 percent voter participation in the Lok Sabha elections. These programs were organized at Nag Nath temple of Ambota and Ambedkar Bhawan of Mawa Kohlan village . In these programs organized in collaboration with Child Development Department and Luminous Power Technology Power Limited and Help Age India, SDM Gagret Somil Gautam appealed to all the voters to participate enthusiastically in the grand festival of elections to strengthen democracy.
He said that democracy is strengthened by the power of voting. For a healthy and strong democracy, it is necessary that all voters exercise their franchise freely and judiciously in elections and inspire others to do the same.
A large number of local people including District Sweep Nodal Officer Narindra Kumar, CDPO Amb Vijay Kumar, CDPO Una Kuldeep Dayal, Departmental Officers Satish Kumar and Sunil Kumar were present in these programs.
