Nawashahr – The Hospital Transfusion Committee meeting was held in the multi-purpose meeting hall of the local BDC. Addressing this, Dr. Ajay Baga BTO said that the blood center staff should provide safe and quality blood donation services to the needy patients as if they were providing it to their relatives.
  He said that the place of "whole-blood service" is now being taken by "component blood service". Under which one blood donor can fulfill the requirement of four needy patients. It is worth mentioning that the rules set by the Ministry of Health of the Government of India for blood center services also include the rule of forming a committee for discussion between the blood center and the hospitals receiving the services, which is called HTC (Hospital Transfusion Committee). .
  In the meeting of this committee, the problems faced during the blood donation services are discussed and their solutions are discussed. Yesterday, a special meeting of the said committee was held under the chairmanship of Mr. GS Toor, Mr. JS Gidda, Mr. Pravesh Kumar, Mr. PR Kalia, Mrs. Surinder Kaur Toor and Mrs. Anju Sarin. A large number of doctors and representatives from hospitals across the district participated in this meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, BDC Secretary Mr. JS Gidda in his welcome speech welcomed everyone to Bhagat Puran Singh Ji's Charan Choh Priya Khoondon Bhawan. After that, Dr. Dayal Saroop, Mr. Manmeet Singh Manager, Mr. Rajiv Kumar LT, Mr. Rajinder Thakur TS and Mr. Paras Makkar TS issued demand-form, sample-availability, processing information and blood units for whole-blood and component-blood services. Information and two-way problems were shared for which solutions were sought on occasion. On this occasion Mr. GS Toor, Mr. JS Gidda, Mr. Parvesh Kumar, Mr. PR Kalia, Mrs. Surinder Kaur Toor, Mrs. Anju Sareen, Mr. Manmeet Singh Manager, Dr. Ajay Bagga, Dr. Dayal Sarup, Mr. Rajinder Thakur, Mr. Paras Makdar, Mr. Rajiv Kumar, Mr. Malakiat Singh were present. Finally, Founder President Mr. GS Toor thanked the BDC doctors and staff, doctors and representatives from various hospitals for the success of the meeting.
