Patiala/Samana, December 17 - Cabinet Minister Chetan Singh Jaudamajra, while protecting the unity and integrity of the country at Anantnag, Kashmir, in the memory of Sainik Pradeep Singh, a resident of Ballamgarh village of Samana constituency, who was martyred during the terrorist attack, built a community with Rs. 19.5 lakhs. Defense Services Welfare Minister Chetan Singh Jaudamajra said on this occasion that the Punjab government is spending one crore rupees on various works in memory of Shaheed Pradeep Singh. Apart from this, the Bhawanigarh-Kulara-Ballamgarh road will also be named after the martyr and the Yadgari Gate will be constructed on the Bhawanigarh road with 10 lakh rupees and the cemetery will be paved at a cost of 4 lakh rupees.
It is worth mentioning that Pradeep Singh, a jawan of 19 RR Sikh Light Infantry, was martyred on 13 September 2023 during a search operation against terrorists at Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir).
