
Jaudamajra laid the foundation stone of the community hall and road at Balamgarh in memory of Shaheed Pradeep Singh
Patiala/Samana, December 17 - Cabinet Minister Chetan Singh Jaudamajra, while protecting the unity and integrity of the country at Anantnag, Kashmir, in the memory of Sainik Pradeep Singh, a resident of Ballamgarh village of Samana constituency, who was martyred during the terrorist attack, built a community with Rs. 19.5 lakhs. The foundation stone for paving the road to Hall and Tilla Baba Amar Das Dera at a cost of 32 lakh rupees was laid today.

Defense Services Welfare Minister Chetan Singh Jaudamajra said on this occasion that the Punjab government is spending one crore rupees on various works in memory of Shaheed Pradeep Singh. He said that the newly constructed block at Public College Samana along with the name of the primary school of the village is being named after the martyr.
In the name of Shaheed, a library is being constructed at a cost of Rs 16 lakh and a stadium at a cost of Rs 18 lakh. Apart from this, the Bhawanigarh-Kulara-Ballamgarh road will also be named after the martyr and the Yadgari Gate will be constructed on the Bhawanigarh road with 10 lakh rupees and the cemetery will be paved at a cost of 4 lakh rupees.
It is worth mentioning that Pradeep Singh, a jawan of 19 RR Sikh Light Infantry, was martyred on 13 September 2023 during a search operation against terrorists at Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir). The cabinet minister released a grant of Rs 1.50 lakh for an open gym to village Bijalpur under the series of Halka Samana development works and also handed over a grant check of Rs 10 lakh for the construction of a government school at village Chupki to the villagers.
