During the training, Assistant Professor (Horticulture) Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Langaroa Dr Aarti Verma explained to the trainees the possibility and importance of mushroom cultivation, different types of mushrooms, preparation of compost, sowing, casing, prevention of mushroom pests and diseases. , gave detailed information about the marketing, processing and economics of mushroom cultivation. During this course, the trainees were also taught the method of long-term compost preparation and the method of casing mix preparation.
While dealing with the trainees participating in this training course, Associate Director (Training), Krishi Vigyan Kendra Langroa, Dr. Maninder Singh Bons, encouraged them to adopt this as a profession after getting the technical knowledge they got during the training and the center is providing every support in this regard.
