Patiala, December 7 - Patiala Additional District Magistrate Anuprita Johal in exercise of powers conferred under Section 144 of the Criminal Code, 1973 (Act No. 2 of 1974) to maintain law and order in the district and maintain peace in public interest. Carrying of (including fire arms, ammunition, explosives, inflammable, articles, sharp weapons like maces, spears, tridents) etc. in public places within the limits of District Patiala is prohibited. These orders will remain in force in the district till February 5, 2024. This order shall not apply to disabled/aged persons (who cannot walk without the support of walking stick) and security personnel/police personnel on duty.
