The Joint Action Committee of the Punjab Civil Secretariat gathered in the parking lot of the Secretariat this afternoon and after holding a rally, the employees marched towards the Legislative Assembly. Meanwhile, the Punjab Police, including the CISF deployed in the Secretariat, stopped the employee a few meters away from the Legislative Assembly, where the employees expressed their anger and raised slogans against the government. Vidhan Sabha Gheru Vishal rally was led by employee leaders Sukhchain Singh Khaira, Manjit Randhawa, Paramdeep Bhabat, Davinder Singh Jugni, Malkit Aujla, Sushil Fauji, Jaspreet Randhawa, Kulwant Singh, Satwinder Singh, Sudesh Kumari, Alka Chaupra, Sahil Sharma, Mithun Chawla, Done by Inderpal Singh Bhangu, Jagtar Singh etc.

AAP took the government by storm and favored the employees. After the rally, the employees stood in the galleries of the secretariat and raised slogans against the government.
After this protest, the finance department of the government immediately called the representatives of the association and asked for 2 days time to fulfill the demands. Along with this, he also responded to hold a meeting with the Finance Minister and the Chief Minister. In this meeting, restoration of old pension, payment of pending DA, arrears of DA, payment of Punjab Pay Commission to new employees, cancellation of letter dated 15.01.2015, license fee of Punjab state government houses instead of 5% as per Chandigarh or Central Govt. On Karan, the demands related to probation period, giving 15 percent benefit to colleagues who did not get 15 percent benefit in salary commission and fixing raw employees were discussed. The association also called PSMSU, which is on strike, to settle the demands.
