Garhshanker, September 9 - The ants generated from the godowns built by various procurement agencies for storing wheat and rice in the Anaj Mandi area here have become a cause of trouble for the common people living in this area. Despite repeatedly bringing the problem to the fore, the department is not giving relief to the people.
Social worker Davinder Singh Bhathal, a resident of the locality, said that due to the presence of ants in the market, it is flying into the eyes and ears of the people. He demanded that the concerned officials should consider this aspect and provide relief to the people by spraying in the entire area. Davinder Singh Bhathal and other locality residents said that despite informing the godown officials, they are not doing anything in this regard.
