Una, September 4 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Wednesday visited Maa Chhinnamastika Kushtha Ashram Society Kotla Khurd and closely inspected the living conditions and facilities of the people living there. During this visit, he had a cordial conversation with the people living in the ashram and tried to understand their needs and problems in depth.
Ashram secretary Lal Babu apprised the Deputy Commissioner about problems such as instability of electricity supply in the ashram, non-availability of community hall and need of boundary wall for security. The Deputy Commissioner listened to all the problems carefully and assured their immediate solution.
The Deputy Commissioner said that solar panels will be installed on the roof of the ashram so that the electricity problem can be permanently solved. Also, he promised to start the construction of community building and boundary wall work soon. The Deputy Commissioner said that the district administration is dedicated to the residents of the ashram and is committed to fulfill all their basic needs. Apart from this, he also provided information about the Samarthya Yojana of the district administration to the residents of the ashram.
