Mahilpur 17 August - With the support of Tajewal village Sarpanch Sant Pawan Kumar and the entire Gram Panchayat, the daughters-in-law of Tajewal village celebrated Teeyan festival with great enthusiasm. In this program, the daughters-in-law of the village expressed their happiness by performing gidda and presenting a program depicting Punjabi culture in Punjabi attire.
MP Dr. Raj Kumar Chabewal and his son Ishat specially attended the program. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabewal said that fairs are a symbol of our ancient culture. Half of the human population is women. Today women are working on high positions after getting educated. Such fairs give the message of sharing the happiness of women and creating brotherhood.
