SAS Nagar, August 14, 2024:- In view of the Independence Day Function being held at Government College Mohali, Phase-6, SAS Nagar, the following traffic restrictions/diversions shall be in place on 15.8.2024:-

Traffic Advisory:-
1. The following road stretches around Parade Ground (Govt. College Mohali, Phase-6, SAS Nagar) shall have restricted access except emergency vehicles from 6:30 AM onwards on 15.8.2024 till the time the function at the Parade Ground gets over (11:00 AM)
Verka Chowk---Dara Studio---Max Hospital Lights---Sector-39 CHD CHowk
All are advised to take alternative route (given below) to avoid inconvenience:-

Advised alternative routes:-
a. Traffic coming from Kharar to Chandigarh via Phase-6 shall take right turn from Verka Chowk towards Motor Market(Vill Mohali), Phase-1, Mohali and then straight to Chandigarh (Sec-39-40-55-56 roundabout). 
b. Traffic Coming from Chandigarh to Kharar shall take left turn from Sector-39-40-55-56 roundabout towards Dhola Wala Chowk---Motor Market, Phase-1, Mohali and then straight towards Kharar. 
2.  Traffic leading to Chandigarh from YPS Chowk (Phase-7/8 & Sec-51/52) and Burail Jail Road (Phase-8/9 & Sec-50/51) will be closed From 11:30 am to 04:00 PM. General Public is requested to take alternative route. 

3. No general parking shall be allowed in the College area and near Dara Studio   from 6:30 AM onwards till the function gets over (11:00 AM).
4. General public is requested to enter Parade Ground from Public Gate Entry (Near Shooting Range) and Park their Vehicles in Market, Phase-6, Mohali
5. School Buses are requested to Park their Buses at Phase-6, Market. 
      Commuters have been advised to make use of alternative routes during the timings given above and requested to cooperate with the police.
