Patiala, August 2 - Civil Surgeon Dr. Sanjay Goyal visited Civil Hospital Rajpura to provide quality health facilities to the people and to review the health facilities being provided to patients in government hospitals. First they checked the attendance of the staff.
He interacted with the patients who came to the OPD for treatment of various diseases, sought information from the patients about the treatment they were undergoing in the hospital. They also inspected the emergency, dengue ward, male female ward, labor room etc. of the civil hospital. He inquired about the condition of those admitted patients in the wards and also reviewed the free services provided in the hospital. He told the concerned in-charge that there should be no shortage of medicines in emergency.
 On this occasion, by meeting with all the medical officers and staff, they were asked not to use any kind of negligence in the treatment of patients, to ensure that the lab tests and medicines of the patients are given only in the government hospital, the restriction of time during duty and cleanliness in the hospital. Cautionary instructions were also issued.
