A memorandum was handed over to Hoshiarpur MP Dr. Raj Kumar Chabewal at his office here today under the direction of Indian People's Theater Association Punjab (IPTA) Punjab President Sanjeevan Singh and Secretary Inderjit Rarupoval to raise voice in Parliament against the growing pollution in culture. . On this occasion, along with Ashok Puri, Baljinder Mann, Gurmail Dhaliwal, Ramesh Kumar, Amrit Lal and Sukhdev were specially present.
On this occasion, Director of Bahurang Kala Manch Hoshiarpur, Ashok Puri, said that cultural programs have a direct impact on the society and nowadays the display of weapons and obscenity in Punjabi songs and films has increased a lot. The government should make a law to stop it. Baljinder Mann said that today we are giving a memorandum to raise our voice against cultural pollution in Parliament through Dr. Raj Kumar. Dr. Raj Kumar Chabewal said that I know that Ashok Puri and his colleagues have been trying to create good values ??in the society for the last 30 years. Like other issues in Punjab, cultural pollution is also a very important issue that is connected with our daily life and is going to affect the lives of our future generations. He assured that he will advocate this issue in Parliament. He said that artists are ambassadors of culture and if an artist faces any kind of problem, he can feel free to contact me.
